For the past few years, the ABC app had been positioned to its audience as an all purpose product, offering content from radio, news, kids and tv. However as users increasingly turned to it as a trusted news source, they found a diluted experience. Ustwo were brought in to help pivot the product to be exclusively News focused, working closely with the development and content teams, as well as users, to improve the experience. Across both iOS and Android, new features were introduced and the look and feel refreshed to reflect the ABC News brand.
